Padang-Padang Beach




            Okay, now I will tell you about padang-padang beach. Where the location is, what the facilities are, how about the view is and many more. Now I will tell you about the location, padang-padang beach is located in Pecatu Village about 15 minutes from Jimbaran and about 30 minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport. Padang-padang beach is also near the Uluwatu Temple and Blue Point Beach.


          The view in Padang-Padang Beach is very beautifull and nice, with white sand. The water is very clean and the wave is goodfor surfing. If we want to enter to Padang-padang Beach, we have to pass through the cave to reach the Padang-Padang Beach. The height is also quite high, so people that are running do not need to pass down. This beautiful cliffs formed from waves pounding the coast of Padang-Padang Beach so as to form caves large and small. Cracks of this cave is very narrow so that when we meet with other visitors in the opposite direction we had to pull over because it is only fit to be passed by one person. But here's the uniqueness of Padang-Padang Beach is not owned by the other beaches in Bali. Walking down the stairs past the slit-shaped caves into an adventure as if you are heading to a remote island. Although the journey to Padang-Padang must pass through a narrow slit, when he got in your way down the beach all the narrow gap will be paid by the beauty of the white sandy beaches. Amount the steps is not a count of 100.






Padang-Padang Beach is as one of the "best surf spots in Bali". In Padang-Padang Beach also have a event namely Surfing Competition. Meanwhile among the surfers, Padang Padang beach is quite famous. A number of international surfing competition events regularly held at this beach. Participants who participate in this competition come from various countries, such as Tahiti, Hawaii, California, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and Brazil to find out with whom they will be surfing in the opening round of competition.





The best season for surfing at Padang – Padang Beach is on dry season due to the winds flows from the southeast to the west that create the big and powerful wave in this area. This beach is geographically located in right side of Bali’s Peninsula where the most great waves occur are on dry season. Many local people and tourist follow this competition sponsored by one of the leading brands around the world, such as billabong, quicksilver, rip curl and other.


The beauty of Padang Padang beach is not only shown by the many visitors. The film Eat, Pray, Love, starring Julia Roberts famous artists also use this beach as one of his shooting.




            In Padang-Padang Beach there is also a event every Saturday night, namely "Full Moon Party". This party is often followed by many local people and the tourists who are traveling in Bali. At the party was, DJ music is played continuously during the party is held.



And about the facilities we can rent a float for swim in the beach. There is also a lifeguard who constantly monitor our activities for conducting activities in Padang-Padang Beach.
            Admission is free but for Car parking is 5,000 rupiah and for motorcycle parking is 2,000 rupiah.
