VIRGIN BEACH, KARANGASEM

Virgin Beach or White Sand Beach is located in the Perasi village, Karangasem regency. This beach is more suitable called Virgin Beach because the atmosphere is quiet, safe, comfortable, and yet many local tourists go. This beach has clear water so it is suitable for swimming or snorkeling and sunbathing course is often done by foreign tourists.

It is true that it had the allure of mystery. Status secret beach (hidden beach) that carried the Virgin Beach is supported by three factors. First, the beach in the Perasi village hidden behind two hills namely Apen and Penggiang. Secondly, the color of the sand also contains a mystery. The name "Virgin Beach" is actually the title of foreign tourists, while the population of Bali himself called White Sand Beach or White Sands. This is not because of its white sand, while all other areas in the black sandy beach Perasi. Third, there is also access to purposely not easy, as if to imply "ban" to set foot there. The beauty of this Virgin Beach was incredible, some even calling the number 1 most beautiful beach on the island of Bali. Located between two cliffs so the beach is quite hidden, which is located behind the Mount Bugbug and Perasi. To reach it, visitors travel a distance of about 1 km from the main road to the town of Karangasem. And the condition of the road has not been kind to the Virgin Beach infrastructure and steep.

The facilities are available in Virgin Beach such as, clear blue sea water, soft white sand and sea foam creates an incredible sensation of tranquility. 600 m along the coast is also seen free of rubbish, really soothing. It seems clear that this beach visitors dominated foreign tourists, and even then still a few fingers.  On the right look lineup umbrella rentals, food stalls / beverage and owned fishing boats row boat. If you want to snorkel, you can rent equipment for Rp 25,000. Rental chairs and umbrellas priced at Rp 15,000 for the day. This price is inclusive cheap when compared to the "hidden beach" which is more popular as Balangan (2 seats for Rp 50,000). If you want to relax you can also enjoy massage services for Rp 50,000 for 1 hour (local tourist prices). And the fee only Rp 3,000 /person and Rp 2,000 /car.
